Which class is for you?
We celebrate the many ways movement can bring joy to our lives. While our roots are in yoga, we also offer opportunities to diversify your practice with Pilates, and our signature strength based classes of Power and Energise. Our thoughtfully curated schedule spans across two studios spaces and provides classes seven days a week, guided by our talented team of teachers. We look forward to creating a welcoming space for you.

Dynamic Vinyasa
The perfect class for students who want to move more mindfully. This does not mean the class is easy! Dynamic Vinyasa flows at a natural breath pace, providing plenty of time to find your perfect home within each posture. Great for beginners and experienced students wishing to experience intelligent and mindful movement.

Foundations Vinyasa
Suitable for beginners. This class is designed to give you a strong foundation into elements of yoga, we encourage questions and bringing your true self.

Feel Good Vinyasa
Feel Good Vinyasa is focused on fluid movements to release tension and stress from the day. Expect a flow that works up heat, enhances strength, flexibility, and balance, all while centering around conscious breath and mindfulness. Time to unwind and enjoy!

Flow to Restore
A mix of both Vinyasa and Restorative elements. The first half of the class is an all-levels flow connecting breath with movement, allowing the body and muscles to warm up. The remaining 30 minutes of class will move to the ground and shift to a yin style class. This restorative format provides the opportunity for students to relax into deep, therapeutic stretches, with each pose held for 2-4 minutes. This class is gentle, flowing and poses are attainable for students of all levels.

Pilates
Our traditional Pilates class is a low-impact, core-focused workout designed to improve strength, flexibility, posture, and overall body awareness. Rooted in Joseph Pilates' original method, this class emphasizes controlled, precise movements and mindful breathing to create a strong, stable core while building long, lean muscles. Exercises are performed on a mat and may incorporate props like resistance bands, rings, or small weights for added challenge and variety. Suitable for all fitness levels, Pilates is a holistic practice that leaves you feeling centered, balanced, and revitalised. Perfect for those seeking to enhance strength and mobility while reducing stress.

Tone & Sculpt
Yoga + Weights + HIIT - what more could you want! This class is heated and will work your entire body. Prepare to strengthen, stretch and tone using a basic yoga flow with pilates concepts, cardio and music to keep you strong.

Energise
Energise is a high-energy, circuit-based workout designed to revitalise your body and mind in just 45 minutes. This dynamic class combines a mix of equipment, including TRX suspension trainers, dumbbells, and bodyweight exercises, to deliver a challenging and varied session. Each circuit is carefully structured to target different muscle groups, improving strength, cardio fitness, and overall endurance. You'll rotate through stations that push your limits, with a focus on functional movement, stability, and power. Whether you're pulling on the TRX, lifting weights, or working through bodyweight drills, Energise keeps you moving and motivated. Perfect for all fitness levels, this fast-paced and adaptable class offers modifications to suit your ability while ensuring you leave feeling invigorated and accomplished.

Power
Power is a dynamic full-body workout designed to build strength, endurance, and control. This mat-based class combines the use of dumbbells and bodyweight exercises to engage all major muscle groups. Each session incorporates a balance of functional movements, strength training, and conditioning exercises, ensuring a well-rounded workout. With guided instruction, you'll move through sequences targeting the upper body, lower body, and core, while focusing on proper form and technique. Whether you're lifting, pushing, pulling, or holding, Power challenges you to feel stronger and more energised. Suitable for all fitness levels, modifications and progressions are provided to meet your needs.

Barre (coming soon)
A dynamic, low-impact workout blending ballet, Pilates, and strength training for a full-body exercise experience. Using a ballet barre and optional props like weights or resistance bands, it focuses on precise, controlled movements and high-repetition exercises to tone muscles, improve posture, flexibility, balance, and core strength. With sequences targeting the upper body, legs, glutes, and core, each session concludes with a stretch, leaving participants feeling strong, balanced, and rejuvenated. Accessible for all fitness levels, barre offers modifications and progressions to suit everyone.

Midwife led Antenatal classes
Learn more about classes and the wonderful Sophie who leads them. Hello! I am Sophie, a local NHS midwife and I live in great Bookham. I am excited to start offering midwife-led antenatal classes at Thrive Studios in Great Bookham. I offer group classes in a comfortable and beautiful setting in the studio. I am passionate about empowering women and their families to make the right choices for their pregnancy, labour, birth and post-partum journeys through fun, evidence-based and practical sessions. We will cover everything you need to know to be fully prepared including the realities of childbirth in the NHS, processes and protocols. The course lasts five weeks with a 2 hour session weekly on a Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:30pm as well as a postnatal meet up once all the babies are born. We also provide personal training and customised yoga and Pilates sessions, available for individuals and duets. No matter your fitness level or preference, we have a class designed just for you.
Absolutely! We offer a beginners yoga on a Thursday evening, which is aimed at discovering all elements of yoga. However if that doesn't suit our highly skilled instructors go above and beyond to offer modified variations for novice participants, while simultaneously challenging and elevating the fitness regime of those craving greater intensity and progression.
Our introductory offers are a perfect way to explore a range of classes and discover what suits you best. Our friendly instructors are here to answer any questions and provide the support you need. With their guidance, you can confidently choose the classes that align with your goals and preferences.
We welcome pregnant clients to our studio. Some of our instructors are specifically trained to accommodate pregnant individuals, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for expectant mothers.
Please inform our instructors at the beginning of the class about your pregnancy, and they'll be happy to provide the necessary adjustments and support. If you are early on in your pregnancy and don't wish to share in the studio, please email us, so that the information can be passed onto your teacher.
To book a class, you can check out via our website and create an account there using Momence.
Once your account is set up, you can easily purchase a pack, membership, or a single class, which will grant you access to book your desired sessions.
Be sure to wear comfortable workout clothes and feel free to bring a towel if you’d like, as well as water to stay hydrated. All necessary equipment will be provided.
Our studio accommodates up to 14 people, so we highly recommend booking your class in advance to avoid disappointment, especially during peak times when spots fill up quickly. Last-minute bookings are also available up to 15 minutes before class begins if you’re looking for flexibility.
For adult classes, we welcome participants aged 16 and up, provided they are fit and healthy for exercise.
For children's classes the age will be specified on the class.
Our instructors are highly qualified, certified, and experienced in their disciplines. They are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for all, ensuring a rewarding and enjoyable experience
Please cancel any class you are unable to make before a 24 hour period.
To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we kindly ask that all clients arrive at least 5 minutes before class begins. Once the class is underway, we cannot accommodate late arrivals as the studio doors will be locked. Likewise, if you join a class, we appreciate your staying for the full duration. This helps minimise any distruption to the start or end of each class.
Classes are available to book 4 weeks in advance, so from that moment on you are welcome to book your spot!
Yes we have a shower that is available to use. We recommend bringing your own towel, however if you forget we do have some that can be rented.
